What’s Involved In a 4WD Service?
The type of service you select will determine the work completed during your service. Our mechanics will assess your car throughout the appointment, and should anything require near or immediate attention, and we’ll let you know.
Basic Diesel Fuel Servicing Inclusions:
Fuel Filter Replacement
Your 4WD diesel engine should have at least one disposable filter fitted. Our team will dispose of and replace the filter to ensure that all fuel passes through it remains clean.
Water Trap Draining
A part of the fuel filter traps water from the fuel. We will ensure this is drained to prevent the engine from misfiring.
Bleeding the Fuel System
When a new fuel filter is fitted, air can get inside the fuel system and compromise engine performance. Our technicians will perform a product known as ‘bleeding,’ which effectively removes air from the fuel system.
Reset Idling Speed
If your vehicle’s engine is running too fast or too slow, the idling speed will need to be reset. Our technicians will be able to adjust the idle speed screw on top of the fuel injector pump.
Oil and Air Filter Replacement
It's important to replace the oil and air filters regularly to ensure your engine continues to run smoothly. We will clean the filter casings before installing new filters and ensure that the correct diesel oil is used.

Road Testing
Look into handling conditions to determine if there are steering issues or any tyre damage.
Engine
Our technicians will evaluate the performance of the electric cool fan, the quality and quantity of coola, andas the tension and quality of the alternator’s belt.
Electronics
Test lights, horn, battery, and alternator changing rate.
Drive Systems
Ensure there are no problems with the gearbox, clutch system, and drive shaft gaiters.
Steering and Suspension
Look for wear and tear, then test the suspension system and the working condition of the power steering system.
Brakes
Inspection of brakes and brake pads, checking for damage and leaks in the brake calipers, and topping up brake fluid.
